Food Technology Student Association (PERTEMA) and Faculty of Applied Sciences are delighted to invite and welcome you to the International Symposium of Food Science and Technology 2021. The InSoFoST2021 will feature the theme of Trends, Opportunities and Challenges in the Development of Sustainable Food’ on 15 until 16 December 2021 which will be hosted virtually.
The aim of the symposium is to provide the opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research work to the international audience in a professional and supportive environment. InsoFoST2021 accept submission representing a wide range of food science and technology discipline which will allow the students to learn from each other about a broad range of exciting research topics. It also a good platform for the young researcher to meet and interact with great researcher and leader in the field of food science and technology.
The program is comprised of invitational plenary session, oral presentation and poster exhibition on current problems, innovation, and development of sustainable food. Full registered participant will receive a certificate of presentation, participation and has access to the recording link of the presentation. The extended abstract will be published in Junior Science Communication. All presenters have a chance to win three best oral and poster presentation awards which will be announced at the closing ceremony.
We hope the symposium will enhance the Asian and international network of researchers and professional and will gain a better understanding of various applications of science and technology in the food system, and an appreciation for the complexity of the modern food supply. We encourage all undergraduate involved in Food Science and Technology research to apply and join this speed networking session just that may help develop your research pitch.

Junior Science Communication
Junior Science Communication (JSC) is dedicated to publishing research results obtained by undergraduate and postgraduate students in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). JSC welcomes research in all areas of science from undergraduate Final Year Projects (FYP) and postgraduate M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Results can be published by JSC in a form of extended abstracts, posters, or conference proceedings. Publications from outside UiTM system may be considered in JSC upon request from the managing editor as well. JSC functions as an important platform for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in science and technology across the globe.
